West Michigan Sand Dragway

West Michigan Sand Dragway opened in 1983, and has since become one
of the premier sand drag facilities in the United States. The track has been operating a full schedule during its existence,
and is now currently operating with a 12 race point series season with other special event weekends mixed in. Jim & Judi
Briggs are in their second year of ownership of WMSD.
- WMSD's track is 300' (100 yards) long
- The
track's surface is a sand/clay mixture
- There are permanent scoreboards at the end of the track showing ET and MPH.

WMSD has a full concession stand serving hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, etc.
- Modern bathrooms are located on-site.

The track is located less than 5 minutes from the Silver Lake Sand Dunes ORV area
